Submit your Proposal for National Area Chapter (Virtual) Conference
The call for session proposals for the 2020 annual fall conference of the National Area Chapter of the American Planning Association is open!
Due to the current public health crisis and safety concerns, this year's conference is being planned as a virtual event, with options for live and pre-recorded online sessions.
Despite the unusual conference format, the National Area Chapter invites APA members to propose a session. Although it will not be possible to gather in crowded conference room together, it is still possible to share our work and learn from one another!
Call for Session Proposals
The National Area Chapter is accepting session proposals that showcase planning projects, research, and case studies in the national capital area under the following categories:
- General education sessions (60 or 90 minutes on planning projects, research, case studies, skill-building, etc.)
- Law or Ethics sessions (90 minutes)
- Short sessions (10-20 minutes) that can be combined into one or more full-length session
- Session proposals will be accepted via this online submission form and are due no later than Friday, June 12, 2020.
Accepted proposals will be notified by July 1.
Proposals will be reviewed for consistency with APA CM Eligibility Criteria and may be recommended for collaboration with other proposers or modification to meet CM eligibility.
Please contact NCAC-APA's Professional Development Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
