Upcoming Webinar on Short-Term Rentals
The WVU Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic is excited to announce a free webinar on November 18 focused on short-term rentals that may be of particular interest to our Mountain State Land Use Academy alumni.
As part of the Mid-Atlantic Planning Collaboration, these webinars will be of assistance to local government officials, planners and citizen planners.
The webinar will discuss the issues presented by short-term rentals in your community and regulatory strategies to address the land use and fiscal impacts. Recent case law across the country will be discussed, along with the practical implications of these rulings. Participants will learn various strategies to balance the positive impacts of short-term rentals legally and effectively with the concerns of neighbors and the community.
The90-minute webinar will be led by Christy Burnside DeMuth and Jesse Richardson and will start at 12 noon. It will offer 1.5 Law CM credits.
