The keynote speaker is Mel Jones, a Research Scientist and Associate Director of the Virginia Center for Housing Research at Virginia Tech. Mel leads housing studies and housing research in Virginia and across the country. Mel specializes in quantitative analysis and data-driven policy connecting housing to broad issues, including economic and community development, individual economic opportunity, and well-being.
This evet provides an opportunity for land use leaders across the state to gather and discuss pressing issues in West Virginia. The sessions are participatory, so attendees have opportunities to ask the questions about situations in their communities.
