Morgantown Seeking Professional Services

The City of Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking written proposals from qualified individuals and planning consulting firms to provide professional services in the design, planning, and implementation of the City’s FY 2017, 2018, and 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, as well as other community development and housing activities, assuming CDBG funding is appropriate and funds allocated during this period.

The objective of this competitive process is to select a firm that will provide the highest quality of work at a reasonable fee. The City of Morgantown will evaluate submitted proposals based on criteria set forth in the RFP document and will select firms deemed the best qualified to perform services. Firms will be ranked accordingly. The City will then enter into scope and fee negotiations with the highest ranked firm. Should the City be unable to reach an agreement with the highest ranked firm, negotiations will begin with the second ranked firm and so on.

All qualified proposers will receive consideration without regard to race, religious creed, color, sex, age, disability, ancestry, or national origin in the contract award. Women Owned (WBE) and Minority Owned (MBE) business enterprises are encouraged to respond. The City of Morgantown is an equal opportunity agency.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Friday, March 17, 2017 in the office of the City Manager, City of Morgantown, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505.
